Every stage of the project, from design to construction, to operations and maintenance of the facility, has been designed to minimise impact on the environment. This does not only refer to the environmental aspect of the project, but also measures our social impact, such as the benefits Erqole will bring to the local community through new job opportunities and increased economic activity.
Energy
Erqole's aim is to produce and avail itself of as much sustainable and environmentally friendly energy as possible. We aim to minimise consumption by using the most modern and efficient systems available.
Water
Monte Argentario is subject to a shortage of fresh water during the summer months. This is why Erqole, thanks to partnerships with the most authoritative experts in the sector, plans to install systems that do not burden its water reserves.
Traffic
The quality of life of the inhabitants of Monte Argentario is one of Erqole's priorities. It has purchased an area just outside Porto Ercole, where a car park will be built for both visitors to the town and hotel guests, that will enable them to reach it using electric vehicles. Storage spaces and warehouses will be developed in the same area to avoid having delivery and rubbish trucks drive through the town centre.
